Mary Kralj, Ph.D., specializes in helping organizations to achieve their strategic goals through custom crafted organizational design, selection and alignment of the executive team, and effective leadership development. Her consulting experience has spanned a broad array of organizations representing the technology, professional services, communications, food, and health industries. She has helped both Fortune 500 and nonprofit organizations, including major trade associations, improve their performance. Recent clients include Xerox, The Center for Creative Leadership, Transitions Optical, International Paper, Rolls-Royce of North America, Booz Allen Hamilton and Quest Diagnostics. Dr. Kralj has consulted in the areas of organizational and leadership development since 1987. When working with organizations, her engagements are tightly linked to the business strategy. Typical engagements include organizational design, merger/acquisition, culture change and team development efforts that result in measurable improvement in the alignment among mission critical components of the organization. When working with individuals, her typical engagements include advisor to the chief executive and the senior leadership team, chief executive and Board performance assessment, and coaching for “high potential” leaders. Dr. Kralj received her undergraduate degree from The College of William and Mary. She completed a Ph.D. in Psychology and a certificate in business at the University of Virginia. She has served on the faculty of the University of Maryland. Her research interests include the development of high potential talent, the identification and measurement of intellectual capital to maximize organizational performance, and the development of behavioral informatics. Following management positions in Research & Development organizations, Dr. Kralj worked at the senior level for a number of consulting organizations including RHR International; Personnel Decisions International; The HayGroup; and Delta Consulting Group in New York City (now OliverWyman). Dr. Kralj speaks nationally on topics related to the leadership challenges of the new economy.
